Dodworth St John’s parish plays an essential part in running our school. The Christian ethos is an integral part of all areas of school life, from daily collective worship to the celebration of Christian festivals. We believe that Christian practice helps to teach acceptance and respect, and equips children to flourish in the diverse and challenging society in which we live.
Although St John the Baptist Church is currently closed, we continue to work closely with the church team to maintain the strong and valued partnership between church and school. Where possible, we are pleased to host services and acts of worship within school, ensuring that our children remain connected to the life of the church and its community. We are committed to sustaining and strengthening these important links while the church building is unavailable.
