Welcome to Year 4 and 5
In Years 4 and 5, pupils continue to develop their knowledge, skills and understanding through an exciting and ambitious curriculum. Teaching builds on the foundations of Lower Key Stage 2 whilst also preparing pupils for the opportunities and challenges of Upper Key Stage 2. Throughout the year, pupils are encouraged to develop confidence, resilience and responsibility, becoming increasingly independent in their learning. By the end of the year, pupils have further developed the skills, knowledge and maturity needed to thrive as successful learners and positive role models within our school community.
Year 4 & 5 Long Term Plan
Our Long Term Plan shows how the curriculum is taught and organised across the year for the Year 4 & 5 class. As a mixed age class, learning is planned over several cycles to ensure full coverage of the curriculum for all children.
